Regular massage in the workplace can help prevent repetitive stress injuries like tendonitis and carpal tunnel syndrome. Also since massage can improve balance in older adults it can aid in preventing injuries from falls. Healthcare cost can also be reduced

Employees that experience some common health conditions like high blood pressure, depression, anxiety, arthritis, joint, low back or neck pain for example spend significantly less in doctor visits and medications. These are some of the most expensive health conditions to treat that can be tempered or reduced with workplace massage therapy in turn reducing the cost to the employer.
